Botanist and business trailblazer, Ernst Benary, lived throughout the eighteen hundreds as a horticultural contractor in Erfurt, Germany. During his lifetime, Benary produced an impressive collection of illustrations, depicting the vegetables, fruits and flowers of his cultivation. Exhibited in ‘The Album Benary’ his most well-loved works are beautiful, bold and bright.
